We have a number of educational programs and leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives. What We Offer
Eastside Black Girls for Change
Mission Statement:
To create a safe space for young Black women to excel, thrive, and be impactful leaders for change on the Eastside.
Eastside Youth Coalition Youth and Government Program
Mission Statement:
To honor Black, Latinx, historically marginalized high school students as present and future leaders. This program teaches students to use the power of their voice through the legislative process and civic engagement.
Groundbreakers
Mission Statement:
To inspire young Black men on the Eastside to lead through their excellence, achieve their goals and empower their community.
Get Your College On
Mission Statement:
To expose and engage Black,
Latinx, historically marginalized youth in college exploration and preparedness through alumni panels,
college/university leadership, and experts in navigating the college process by leaders from their communities.
